Flash loan or regular crypto loan?

New to this – what's the difference between flash loans and normal crypto-backed loans? Thinking of borrowing some USDT against my SOL to buy more during dip. Is one safer for beginners in Ukraine?

Flash loans are very different – they're uncollateralized, must be repaid in the same transaction (mostly for arbitrage/DeFi pros), so not suitable for regular borrowing. What you're probably looking for is a standard overcollateralized loan: you lock crypto, borrow stablecoins/fiat, use it as you want, repay later + interest. Much more beginner-friendly if you don't over-leverage. In Ukraine many platforms now offer this with local card payouts and reasonable rates (10–15% APR common). I usually start small and watch LTV closely. This resource helped me understand the landscape better https://crypto.vsimfo.com.ua/ru/ – they explain terms, compare popular services available here, highlight ones with Ukrainian interface/support, and warn about risky high-LTV offers. Good starting point before connecting any wallet.
